Earth Day Celebration
April 25 - April 26
On Saturday, April 25th from 10am – 3pm organizations, businesses and local agencies throughout Monroe County have organized a county-wide event to celebrate the conservation successes of the past 20+ years in Monroe County and the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day!
It will be held at Northampton Monroe Campus, Tannersville.
The day includes: Musical Entertainment featuring Chris London, Regina Sayles, Woodrow and The Lost Ramblers! There will also be children’s activities, electronics recycling and tire amnesty sponsored by The Waste Management Authority, speakers and exhibits highlighting local environmental business, organizations and agencies. The day will also feature the Pocono Arts Council’s Earth Speaks Exhibit from 1-3pm. Free Admission! It’s a day you won’t want to miss!
