Christmas Tree Lighting (virtual)
November 27, 2020 @ 6:00 pm

The Downtown Stroudsburg 2020 Christmas Tree Lighting will be held on Friday, November 27, 2020 from 6-6:30 p.m. Unlike previous years, due to COVID-19, this will be a shorter, virtual only event. The livestream will be posted on the Visit Downtown Stroudsburg Facebook page.
Due to this being a virtual only event, there will be no entertainment, Santa or vendors present.
“Hundreds of local families and visitors usually attend this event in person to kick off the holiday season, but we recognize that safety is top priority during these unprecedented times,” said Erik Diemer, Master of Ceremonies. “We hope the tree, located in Courthouse Square, will bring Christmas cheer to all.”
Master of Ceremonies, Erik Diemer, and Stroudsburg Mayor Tarah Probst will speak and count down to the tree lighting. The event is sponsored by Pocono Arts Council, Stroud Media and We See Productions. Organizers extend a special thank you to the Snyder Family and Stroudsburg Borough Street Department for supplying and decorating the tree.
The following day on Saturday, November 28, Downtown Stroudsburg will participate in Small Business Saturday. Many businesses will hold sales and discounts for shoppers.
