The Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce held their annual award banquet at the Pocono Palace. The Gary in the Morning Show was humbled and honored to receive the Frank Scholech Community Commitment Award. Mr. Scholech has had a huge impact on building up the Poconos and the chamber.

Station Manager Kerri and Elisa attended the Wings of Freedom event, which celebrated the strength of women in our area! This was a fundraiser for the Bloom Studio, a women’s resource shelter located in Bangor. Numerous women were transformed into butterfly-themed works of art! What an inspiring night!

 

A beautiful day and lots of smiles at the Chipperfield Elementary School Color Run event! Al the Wingman was out representing Pocono 96.7 FM and playing music. We love being your hometown station!

The Gary in the Morning crew was at Pocono Raceway this weekend cheering on the drivers! Gary in the Morning, Station Manager Kerri, Al the Wingman, and Shannon on Sports had an amazing time! They also grabbed an interview with the Motor Racing Network! We love MRN and Pocono Raceway!

The weather was beautiful for Aviation Day at the Mount Pocono Municipal Airport! The Fly-In Drive-In pancake breakfast was a huge success! Not only did members of the Mount Pocono Rotary club along with various community leaders prepare and serve a great breakfast, families enjoyed a classic car show, air plane and helicopter rides, and law enforcement demonstrations! Plus there were lots of community-related vendors there too!
