The season’s first snowfall could hit the Pocono region on Friday morning.
Friday’s forecast from the Weather Channel calls for rain and snow in the morning in some areas, changing to snow showers in the afternoon. Towns north of Stroudsburg, including Pocono Manor, could see one to three inches of the white stuff. As of Monday afternoon (10/26), the chance of precipitation is 90%! Sunny conditions are forecast for Saturday, which is Halloween.
The Pocono region usually receives an average of 50 inches of snowfall every year. Last year’s total fell short of that, at 38 inches.
