Rain Barrel Sale

Time is running out…Are you interested in collecting rain water for outdoor uses around the home? Whether used for watering plants, washing the car, or washing windows, roof runoff collected in rain barrels provides an ample supply of naturally soft water for a variety of outdoor uses. This spring, the Monroe County Conservation District is holding a rain barrel sale on Saturday, April 22, 2017. This Pennsylvania-made rain barrel features a screened lid, brass ball valve spigot, bottom drain, and overflow fittings, all installed on a re-purposed barrel. Rain barrels are $80 plus tax.
Ordering deadline is Wednesday, April 12, 2017 and pick-up day is Saturday, April 22, 2017 between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Monroe County Earth Day, held at Monroe Campus of Northampton County Community College in Tannersville. Directions to Monroe County Conservation District: From Stroudsburg (or Exit 302 from I-80 West or 302B from I-80 East) go N. on Rte. 611, travel 1/2 mile to the 2nd traffic light in Bartonsville, and turn left onto Rimrock Drive. Follow Rimrock Drive for 0.4 mile, bear right onto North Easton-Belmont Pike, go 0.2 mile, then bear right onto Running Valley Road. The Center is 0.7 mile on left.
