Friends of Pike County Library Bus Trip
October 12, 2017
An overnight trip to the Berkshires of Massachusetts is on the agenda for October. On Thursday, October 12, we will be visiting the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, having a fabulous lunch at the Red Lion Inn. On Friday, we will visit “The Mount,” historic home of author Edith Wharton, who wrote, “The Age of Innocence”. After lunch, we’ll be stopping at the Lee Premium Outlets. Reserve ASAP. This trip will sell out quickly.
On Thursday, November 2, our bus will take us on a tour of the Scranton Coal Mine, a lovely lunch at Carmine’s in Scranton, and to conclude the day, a magic show at the Harry Houdini Museum.
Wednesday, December 6th, is our final bus trip for this year. We’ll be heading for the Big Apple once again to see New York “on your own”. A perfect time to visit the Big Tree and lights of Rockefeller Center, to view all the beautifully decorated shop windows, to do holiday shopping, or to take in a matinee.
